INTRODUCTION:
Pediatric Rheumatology On-Line Journal has the privilege of publishing all
the abstracts presented at Pediatric
Rheumatology 2003: Park City and Beyond, held in Snowmass,
Colorado, March 2003. There
are a
total of 198 abstracts on multiple pediatric rheumatology topics. PROJ will present the abstracts in its June, July and August publications.
The June journal will include all those related to Juvenile Idiopathic
Arthritis. The subsequent
journals will publish the abstracts on dermatomyositis, lupus, vasculitis entities, basic immunology, bone metabolism
and other topics. Every effort was made to place the
abstracts in appropriate categories
and/or sub-categories, so that they can
easily be located
in searches. However, some clearly addressed more than
one topic. In most cases, they
were placed in the more obvious and
pertinent category. On rare occasions, an abstract
is listed under two
separate topics.
