FELLOW’S CHALLENGE MARCH-APRIL 2004 PROJ

RADIOGRAPHIC DIAGNOSIS OF PEDIATRIC RHEUMATIC AND OTHER

MUSCULOSKELETAL DISEASES

FELLOWS!!!!!

Please review the following set of radiographs and assign a rheumatic or musculoskeletal diagnosis. Even though there is one "correct" diagnosis for each radiograph (as all the patients' are known to us), it is possible that some x-ray findings may be compatible with more than one diagnosis.  In this case, all diagnoses approved by our pediatric radiologists will be considered correct answers.  E-mail your answers to Linda Wagner at lww@uchicago.edu or fax to 773-363-0427. The fellow with the most correct answers by May 15^th will be awarded a CD of the ACR Slide Collection of pediatric rheumatology diseases. Ties will be broken by who sent the answers in by the earliest date.  The answers to this challenge will be posted in the next issue of PROJ.
